A leadership training program that provides a transformational curriculum, helping participants develop and put into practice tools that will assist them in redesigning and expanding their vision for life, work, relationships and purpose. This company has been in operation for slightly over two years. All transactions are accomplished online via credit card with a three-month payment plan option.

Problem        

Due to the 100% card not present (E-Commerce) format of the transactions, the large average order value (approximately $2,000) and the young age of the company, they were being placed in a high-risk category and charged excessively high processing rates with a large required reserve. They were also not able to secure third party funding for their payment plan offering, requiring them to self-fund the program.

Solution

We were able to work with one of our high-risk processors – who viewed this merchant in a less than high risk manner – to provide them with a very competitive processing rate with no reserve required.

We also teamed them with one of our B2C financing partners that has provided them with a six-month, zero interest program for their customers with a low fee structure.

Results

The lower rates, combined with our 50% rebate on commissions we earn from their business, has resulted in a 75% reduction in processing costs (not including Interchange). The new financing program has increased their closure rate substantially and doubled their growth rate.
